EDT Learning Garners Four More Industry Awards in Diverse Competitions
- Company Adds Awards for Superior Courseware, Internet Portal, and Top Producer to Its Industry-Leading Total -
LOS ANGELES, December 18, 2000 - EDT Learning announced that it has received new industry honors in three distinct practice areas, bringing the company's award total to 55.
For the sixth straight year, EDT Learning earned honors from the New Media INVISION Competition, the industry's top technology competition, receiving the Bronze Award for its custom courseware. EDT Learning and client AchieveGlobal earned the prestigious Lguide.com Editor's Choice Award for their innovative course approach and delivery. The company's business education knowledge channels, "Insights & Community," received the Web Marketing Association's WebAward 2000 for Outstanding Achievement in Web Site Development. Finally, AV Video Multimedia Producer Magazine named EDT Learning courseware producer Paul Koval to its "Top 100 Producers" list.
The New Media INVISION Awards 2000 named EDT Learning a winner in the Hard Media: Corporate Training category for "Ethics: Navigating the Grey," a custom course co-designed with PricewaterhouseCoopers. In the past six years of this competition, EDT Learning has won five times for courseware and once for its learning platform.
Lguide.com, the Internet's premier e-learning guide, honored the EDT Learning-AchieveGlobal team with an Editor's Choice Award for their co-produced course, Healing the Customer Relationship, specifically citing it superior for its exceptional and unique courseware content, design, features, and instructional elements as well as for its full use of the Web as instructional medium.
EDT Learning's business knowledge channels, collectively called "Insights & Community," created to meet individual and corporate needs for knowledge on demand, complement all of EDT Learning's courses. The award bestowed by the WMA is a significant accolade for the portal because entries are judged on their design, innovation, content, and interactivity, against both Internet standards and peer sites across a variety of industries.
For the third time in six years, a EDT Learning employee was named to AV Video Multimedia Producer Magazine's "Top 100 Producers" list, the annual competition that spotlights the best producers of non-entertainment media. This year's winner, Paul Koval, follows producer Craig Henderson, named to the list in 1999, and Chief Learning Officer Suzanne Biegel, included in 1997. Koval won the honor for his body of work at EDT Learning, which includes the EDT Learning-PricewaterhouseCoopers award-winning course, Ethics: Navigating the Grey.
